Jonesboro's Jacob Weatherley pitched six shutout innings and the Hurricane scored all of its runs in the fifth inning to defeat Cabot 4-2 in high school baseball Tuesday.

Weatherley struck out eight batters while allowing only three hits and one walk. The Panthers threatened in the seventh, scoring twice and leaving the bases loaded when Brennan Payne recorded the final out on a fly ball to center field for the save.
