Sydney Berry pitched a complete game Tuesday as Jonesboro opened the season with a 4-1 victory over Rivercrest in high school softball. Berry gave up five hits and one run while striking out four batters.
Emily Bosche was 3-for-4 to lead the Lady Hurricane (1-0). Berry and Kellen Church also had multiple hits for the Lady Hurricane.
