The Mountain Home High School tennis teams wrapped up their regular season slate by hosting Jonesboro on Thursday evening, and the Lady Bombers earned their second 4-4 tie of the season against the Lady Hurricane.

Mountain Home's Emily Heide coasted to two victories, both by 8-1 scores, while Elizabeth Lewis split her singles matches, 8-6 and 6-8.

The doubles team of Meagan Beck and Sydney Czanstkowski fell 4-8 to the defending state doubles champions, Clara Parker and Cameron Hafner. Beck and Czanstkowski won their second match, 8-3, and the team of Sarah Godfrey and Chloe Nosari fell 3-8 and 0-8 in their two matches.

The Hurricane defeated the Bombers, 6-2, to finish a season sweep of Mountain Home. Billy Beck fell 6-8 and rebounded to win 9-7, while Jack Arp lost 1-8 and 0-8 in singles play.

Mountain Home's duo of Dylan Kimbriel and Grahm Davidson won 8-6 and lost 0-8, while the team of Sam Arp and CJ Blackmon lost 3-8 and 0-8.

The Lady Bombers are 9-1-4 overall and finish 4-1-3 in the 6A-East. The Bombers are 5-7-2 and are 2-5-1 in conference action.

Mountain Home is idle until traveling to Searcy on Oct. 9-10 for the 6A-East Conference Tournament.
